Marion came to Sun City, Arizona in 2005 from Pennsylvania where she was employed as a college computer professor for 18 years.  She paints mainly in oil and pastel and does some watercolor and batik.  She is a realistic artist and specializes in animals and portraits but also paints floral, landscapes, and more.  She studied art in Pennsylvania and obtained knowledge in drawing, color and design, composition, computer graphics, and real-life and studio painting at Luzerne County Community College and Wilkes University.

She is also an experienced bead crafter and jewelry artist.  She has created unique work with beads and silver such as earrings, necklaces, bracelet, rings, pins and rosaries .

Marion is a member of the Palo Verde Artists, Vanguard Artists and Bell Craft Club.  She has shown her work in various exhibits and has won first place ribbons for her artwork.
